About Henry D. Smith

Henry D. Smith is a West Virginia author deeply rooted in the engineering and coal mining life of the state. A graduate of Virginia Tech, he has resided in Bluefield for over 40 years.

He is currently at work on his second novel, Briar Fork, a railroad mystery set in West Virginia.
